Finding Building 7 on the LCCC Campus

So, on Saturday you arrive at Luzerne County Community College. You're ready to check out the event when you realize that you have no idea where you are going. That's ok. We've got you covered (err, LCCC has). They have a map of their campus so you can find Building 7. We highly recommend parking in lot A as you'll be closest to Building 7. Once you arrive, follow the signs to building 7. Registration will take place in the front of the building.

Subs for Lunch

Yesterday we talked about starting our day. However, with all of this great content going on, we'll need the right amount of fuel to keep us going through the afternoon. So, for our lunch, we're planning on having freshly made subs from Thomas' Family Markets. Each sub will be accompanied by chips, fruit cup, cookie, and a water. We'll also have cans of soda available.

Pastries, Juices for Breakfast

As we get closer to TECHbash 2012, we'll announce other, minor details of the event so you have a good understanding of how your day should be planned. Of course, nothing is as good as starting off with some pastries for breakfast. We'll have muffins, danishes, and cinnamon buns from Thomas' Family Markets along with juices and fresh brewed Starbucks coffee. Breakfast items will be available for the start of registration at 8am.

Just Announced: Women in Technology Discussion to Take Place at TECHbash 2012

During TECHbash 2012, which will take place on Saturday, April 28th, several local and regional women in technology will take part in a discussion about the state of women in technology and advice for female professionals entering the technology workforce. The panel will be lead by Pittston native, Rachel Appel. Rachel currently works in New York City as a Microsoft Developer Evangelist for Microsoft. She'll be joined by Karla Porter, former director of workforce development at the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, and Michelle Hryvnak Davies, an IT Engineer at WNEP-TV.

TECHbash 2012, Northeastern Pennsylvania's premier technology conference will kick off with sessions starting at 9:00am in Building 7 of the Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, PA campus.

Call For Speakers Deadline Extended

We currently have over 30 talks submitted for TECHbash 2012. However, we have a hole within our IT Professional tracks. These areas include, but are not limited to, Windows 8, Windows 8 Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, MySQL, Linux, Alt .NET, iPhone development, Android development, and hardware setup and configuration. The call for speakers has been extended through Friday, April 6th. Talks can be submitted by emailing iwanttospeak [at] techbash.com.
